The Big Belly tag is frequently applied to overweight or obese characters with prominently large belly, or in images with a pregnant character.

Big Belly can be applied alone to a range of different sizes, but stops short of hyper belly and weight classes of ssbbw or ssbhm]. Generally, if the size of a character's [[belly is larger than the character, the image falls under hyper belly.
